Polk Miller and the Clansmen will Play at Crowded House
On the night of October 6 "The Clansman" will be given by the original company. This drama has been the subject of wide comment, and whether advertised on the bill boards of New York or Albemarle, it has always played to a full house. Tom Dixon, the now noted author, is of the South, and The Clansman is peculiarly southern. It is one in which he oldest veteran and his youngest grandchild may find enjoyment.
It is not often that a town of this size can secure a play of this proportion but Messrs Starnes and Peeler are determined to make this season an interesting and profitable one to the play lovers, and the beautiful opera house will prove equal to all demands.
